Going on Holiday With Children? Make Your Life Easier With This Simple Tip!

We have recently returned from a holiday along with our family - a beautiful villa in the La Manga area of Spain. The men played some golf, the girls worshipped the sun and the kids utterly loved playing in the swimming pool! Utter bliss.

However we have a recommendation which we thought was worth sharing with you - it not only made our life easier but the kids enjoyed it too. We made use of hooded kids towels around the swimming pool to help in getting the children dried without causing us lots of hassle! We found this much simpler than the standard big beach towels which we're all familiar with.

We used lots of sunscreen and protective swimwear (including one very cool all in one diving suit outfit for our two year old), but this still left us thinking how we got the kids dry. We left the towels on a sun lounger and when we wanted to get the child out of the swimming pool, we got them to the shallow end and whipped off their soaked swimming gear and wrapped them up in a hooded towel. We used sun protective towels as well which meant the child's skin remained protected from all of the sun's rays.

By quickly wrapping the child up, we got them dried off whilst making them look seriously cute! In fact, many of our best photos from the break are the ones of the children wrapped up in their towels, faces peaking out whilst having a refreshing drink or ice lolly - they look really sweet!

Knowing the towels are sunlight resistant too meant we didn't have to worry about quickly getting suncream onto damp skin. The children got wrapped up, got on a sun bed and then once they'd had a little break, we creamed them up again and off they went playing.

All that was left to do was to lay the towel out on the back of a sun lounger and let it dry out. By the time the children needed it again, the towel was nice and dry courtesy of the heat from the sun! Could anything be easier than letting nature do your drying for you?! Plus, the baby towels wash really well so when we did have to wash them, they stayed nice and soft for the kids.

For a parent on a beach or round the pool, making things simple is key to being able to enjoy yourself too. It's your break as well! There's nothing worse then getting all hot and bothered and the kids getting upset when the temperatures are soaring high - why not make life and the holiday easier by packing something which you already have at home?
