Professional auction companies are contracted to sell old school materials. Companies like Interschola sell lots of old school products, both they have a website and often sell on Ebay, so keep an eye out as you never know what will pop up.

These are stores where contractors donate used goods, building materials, or antiques found during their renovations projects to the store, and the store then sells them for profiting charities. They are normally listed under building supplies, but tend to have a bit of everything.
